Editorial policy

Our mission is to give men accurate, actionable, evidence-based health information. This policy explains the standards behind everything we publish.

Evidence standards

We prioritise high-quality evidence: systematic reviews, meta-analyses, randomised controlled trials and clinical guidelines. Claims are linked to primary sources, and we distinguish strong evidence from preliminary findings.

Sourcing

We cite peer-reviewed literature and reputable bodies such as the NHS, NICE, the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements, Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic and the American Urological Association. We avoid press releases, brand-funded studies presented without context, and anecdote.

Editorial review

Health content is reviewed by our editorial reviewer and checked against primary research and current clinical guidelines before publication. See our editorial review policy.

Accuracy and updates

We review content regularly and update it as the evidence changes. Each guide shows its author, reviewer and last-updated date. Spotted an error? Tell us and we'll investigate.

Who writes and reviews

Guides are written by the VeriNourish Men editorial team and checked against the primary sources named at the bottom of each article. We do not currently have a named clinical reviewer, so we do not describe our content as medically reviewed anywhere on this site. What we do claim is exactly what happens: research is read, cited at the point of the claim, and edited for accuracy and clarity. Our review policy sets out what that covers and what it does not.

Corrections and updates

If something here is wrong, we want to know. Email hello@verinourishmen.com with the page address and what looks incorrect. We aim to reply within five working days.

• A factual error is corrected as soon as it is confirmed, and the update date on the article changes.
• A correction that changes the meaning of guidance is noted in the article itself, so you can see what changed.
• A typo or broken link is fixed silently.
• Where evidence has moved rather than an error being made, we update the article and say so in the text.

Every guide carries a publication date, and an update date once it has been revised. If a page has not been reviewed for a long time, that will be visible to you.

Conflicts of interest

No brand pays for coverage, placement or a rating, and nobody outside the editorial team sees an article before it is published. Where a link earns a commission, the affiliate disclosure explains it. Rankings and recommendations are set before any commercial arrangement is considered.

Independence

Editorial decisions are made independently of commercial relationships. Advertisers and affiliate partners never influence our recommendations.
