How we choose products
Some VeriNourish guides recommend a specific supplement or product. This page explains exactly how those picks are made, so you can see that a recommendation reflects the evidence and our editorial judgment, not who pays the most.
Our checklist
Every product we recommend has to clear the same bar:
- Evidence first. The ingredient and dose have to be supported by clinical research for the specific use we suggest it for. If the evidence is weak or mixed, we say so rather than sell around it.
- Third-party tested. We favor brands that verify their products through independent programs such as NSF, USP or Informed Choice, or that publish a certificate of analysis for each batch.
- Transparent labels. No proprietary blends that hide how much of each ingredient you actually get. The dose has to be stated on the label.
- A form that works. We point you to the well-absorbed or best-evidenced form, for example creatine monohydrate or magnesium glycinate, not simply the cheapest one on the shelf.
- A sensible dose. The amount per serving should match what research supports, not a number chosen for marketing.
- No commission bias. Our editorial team decides the recommendation first, then we check whether an affiliate program exists. If the better product has no program, we recommend it anyway.
What we are, and what we are not
VeriNourish Men is an editorial team. Our guides are researched from clinical sources and reviewed by our editorial reviewer. We are not a testing lab, and we are not your doctor. A recommendation here is information to help you choose well and have a better conversation with your healthcare provider. It is not medical advice or a prescription.
How we make money
Some links in our guides are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a small commission from the retailer, at no extra cost to you. That income keeps our guides free and lets us avoid intrusive advertising. It never changes what we recommend or how we rank products. For the full detail, see our affiliate disclosure.
Before you buy
Supplements can interact with medicines and are not right for everyone. Talk to your healthcare provider before starting any supplement, especially if you manage a health condition or take medication.
